I find it pretty whimsical, how my mood is patterned after the weather changes these days. Autumn being the season of metamorphosis, transitioning to Death and Rebirth, I am subconsciously pushed to shake off my inherent stagnation (insert here cheesy sentimental analogy about leaves falling from the trees).
How does it feel to quit your day job? To do what you want to do, what you think you’re meant to do? What is the right foundation? How can one find the strength needed to underlie decisions?
Traveling clears my mind, seeing new sceneries soothes me inside, and being close to nature has a remarkable healing effect for me. Forwards is the only way. Evolving and learning everyday. Battling through the gloom, and filling my mind with new knowledge. Places, books, tunes. Traveling.
I’ve always noticed the difference between the wanderers and the settled. How minds broaden when you conceive and absorb new things.
One day I’ll fill my backpack with a few necessities and I won’t stop until I satisfy my hungry gipsy soul. But I doubt gratification will come easy. The world is so big, and filled with so many different things to discover, after all.
