I have just discovered these pictures that I shot sometime ago, but for some reason they got lost in the chaotic universe of my computer and my mind. They came in handy, as in this period of my life I struggle doing basic things, let alone putting makeup on, picking out outfits and taking photographs.
Picking up my broken pieces, scattered everywhere, is a process quite savage and many times postponed by the travels of a highly imaginative mind which prefers to build worlds of fantasy than living in the present cut-throat reality.
Looking at these pictures again makes me feel vulnerable, and makes me wish for the magical ability of turning back time, being able to live in the moment when these memories were shot, were not so much was lost. I’m going pretty deep for an outfit shot, huh? That’s right, but if you know me a bit by now, you know that I put myself in these posts. I either do something wholeheartedly or not at all.
On the nostalgia that these photos have invoked, and the outfit itself: I remember that I got this marching band jacket being widely inspired by the legendary Jimi Hendrix, another milestone of Music history and influence I have to thank my father for. I combined my Hendrix jacket -as I call it- with a pair of my favourite stage pants that were made custom for me by the awesome Kissin’ Bombs.
